[Montgomery, Ala.] -- Special Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Internet Crimes Against Children Unit arrested Thursday, June 11, a Birmingham man on one count of Dissemination of Child Pornography and four counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Eric Phillip Simpson, 45, of Birmingham was arrested and booked at the Shelby County Jail with no bond. Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and the USPS assisted. Nothing further is available as the investigation continues.
