MONTGOMERY – Special Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation today, Nov. 19, arrested former Cpl. Sean Blackburn of the Wetumpka Police Department. SBI stepped in to investigate possible evidence theft at Wetumpka PD’s request. Agents charged Blackburn with two counts of theft of property 2nd. He was transported to Elmore County Jail on $5,000 bond. Nothing further is available as the investigation continues.
